For your deep concerns for the displaced persons of Colombia expressed through your work with the Chicago Presbytery as Co-Chair of its "Congregations in Solidarity with Latin America", focused especially on Afro-Colombians;
For support and friendship given to Colombian pastor Milton Mejia and his family during their political asylum in Chicago;
And for your professional and personal witness in support of the rights and dignityto all persons without regard to their sexual orientation.
Ecumenical, steadfast, and always grassroots, you work is a model for us all.
