DREAM Sabbath 2011

September 16–October 9

Please join the Chicago New Sanctuary Coalition, as part of the national effort sponsored by the Interfaith Immigration Coalition and other faith-based organizations committed to enacting fair and humane immigration reform for DREAM Sabbath 2011.

During DREAM Sabbath 2011, (September–October), communities of faith will lift up the lives of DREAM students in the prayers, readings, reflection and education during at least one Sabbath service as a way to increase understanding of the circumstances undocumented youth face, and their hopes and contributions to our communities. For more information please contact Jenny Dale at jdale@chicagosanctuary.org or 773-293-3680

If your congregation would like to participate please click here to sign up on the Interfaith Immigration Coalition website! Illinois Senator Richard Durbin is compiling a list of participating congregations to share with other Senators to show the widespread support.
