Ecumenical Advocacy Days with CRLN
March 19-22
Register Now!
Join CRLN and people of faith from across the country in this year's Ecumenical Advocacy Days. The theme this year is "A Place Called Home: Immigrants, Refugees, and Displaced Peoples," and is an exciting fit with the work CRLN is doing in regards to Mexico, Colombia, and the Chicago New Sanctuary Coalition! Please join us in learning more about immigration and displaced peoples and advocating for those who have no voice on Capitol Hill.
Read below for more details.
Here's what you do:
- Go to http://advocacydays.org/ to register. The cost is $160 if you register before Feb. 13th, so register early! On the form, put down the following preferences in order to officially be in CRLN's group:
- In "Denomination (other)" put CRLN.
- Choose the "I'll set up my own congressional meetings" option. CRLN will set up our own meetings, so the event organizers don't have to.
- Choose the Latin American Workshop track. There are some excellent workshops being put together that you won't want to miss!
- Book your hotel room now! The price is $125 per night before Feb. 6th. Go to http://advocacydays.org/location/ for more details.
- Email Erin at earmstrong@crln.org to her know you are going! Please include what district you live in so she can coordinate our meetings on the Hill!
We want to have a big delegation from Illinois, so our Representatives will know that it is time to start caring for immigrants and displaced people around the world! Please join us to make your voice heard!
