Discussion on Political and Social Realities in El Salvador
Leslie Schuld, Executive Director of the CIS (Centro de Intercambio y Solidaridad) in El Salvador, will be in the Chicago area the last week of October. While here, she will address the current political and social situation in El Salvador at a public talk and discussion at 3 pm on Sunday, October 24th at the Presbyterian Home, Westminster Place, 3200 Grant Street in Evanston.
Leslie's credentials include a life-time dedication to solidarity with the people of El Salvador, including the founding and development of the CIS (Centro de Intercambio y Solidaridad) in El Salvador. CIS's mission for the past seventeen years has been the promotion of solidarity and cultural exchange across borders between the Salvadoran people and others in the search for development and dignity.
