Dorothy    
       Dorothy is an African seminary student, a minister, and a former seminary professor, who has done some work on HIV/AIDS advocacy, prevention, treatement, and pastoral care.   


Lois Johnson
          Lois Johnson was a 4th grade teacher for 20 years.  She enjoys spending time with her family, studying cello, gardening, and hiking.  Lois is currently teaching environmental education and tutoring a young man from Mexico on his English.


Rick Johnson
          Rick Johnson is a retired elementary school educator.  He enjoys traveling with his wife and spending time with his four grandchildren.  He volunteers as a court appointed advocate for abused and neglected children.


Becky Kendall
          I am a retired attorney/executive who now focuses on my family, church and community.  In our combined family, my husband and I have 6 children and 13 grandchildren.


Krystal McClinton
          My name is Krystal McClinton.  I recently completed graduate studies in Non-profit Management and began working for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) in mid July of this year.  I am most excited to work in a mission-driven organization.  I am especially looking forward to working with great colleagues, donors and constituents.


Carol Schickel
          Carol has lived in Chicago for ten years with her husband Rob.  She works as a psychotherapist in the Lakeview Neighborhood.  She also serves the ELCA national office through a project to support new pastors in ministry.  Carol and Rob have two married children and four precious grandchildren.


Donald Schnell
          I grew up in Iowa.  Graduated from University of Northern Iowa, served two years in the army, taught high school mathematics for 33 years in Iowa before retiring.  After retirement I worked 11 summers at amusement parks.  I now live in Chicago.


Erica Spilde
          Erica Spilde works at the Chicago Religious Leadership Network on Latin America as the Encuentros: Encounters in Latin America coordinator.  She has taken on this role after spending two years in Costa Rica working for the Costa Rican Lutheran Church.   In addition to her passion for peace, justice and human right in our hemisphere, Erica is enthusiastic about care for the environment and enjoys dodging cars while riding her bike in Chicago. 


Cynthia Stahler
          I am an ordained United Church of Christ minister, semi-retired, with 5 grandchildren.  I have had an interest in social justice for many years and want to be better informed about Mexico.
