2011 January - MEXICO - Tortillas and Trade
Four women traveled to Mexico to learn, feel, experience and be transformed. They focused their time exploring the effects of NAFTA on issues related to food, especially corn and tortillas. While in Mexico, they met with campesinos, indigenous women, university professors and other leaders in a schedule put together by the CREAR (Convergencia Resistencia de las Américas) and the CCIDD (Cuernavaca Center for Intercultural Dialogue on Development).
