CRLN's Public Policy Delegation to Washington DC!

Please join CRLN along with faith based advocates from all over the United States in Washington, DC for Ecumenical Advocacy Days, March 25-28, 2011.  This year’s theme is “Development, Security and Economic Justice: What’s Gender Got to Do with It?”

 

The conference will provide workshops on Latin America and other regions of the world, as well as seminars on peace and global security.  Following the workshops, participants will lobby Members of Congress about these issues.  The conference fee is $160 including two lunches and Sunday reception.  Youth and young adult scholarships are available. Register soon- After March 4, 2011, the registration fee increases to $175. 

Speakers include Sandra Moran, coordinator of the Women's Sector, an alliance of 33 organizations acros Guatemala; Dee Smith, Maryknoll sister and Project Coordinator for Project Life, a HIV education and hospice center on the Mexico-Guatemala border; Rev. Adelaida Jimenez Cortes and Rev.
