Join CRLN at an important event on Colombia.  Now especially, as Congress considers the Free Trade Agreement, its is critical to understand the situation in Colombia. 

Monsenor Hector Fabio Henao, the National Director of SNPS/Caritas - Colombia, and Martha Ines Romero, Country Manager-Colombia for Catholic Relief Services will speak at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 1010 W. Webster Avenue, Chicago, on Thursday April 17, beginning at 7:00 pm.  Come join us!

Phil and Lorie are both retired educators, active members of the Presbyterian Peace Fellowship and recipients of Peace and Justice Awards. Phil has served as an accompanier in Colombia to witness the safety of human rights workers whose lives are at risk.

Join them for coffee and dessert at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 17, 2008 in the Guild Room at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 2515 Central Avenue, Evanston, IL

They will discuss the church's role in human rights advocacy illustrated through a slide show - power point presentation focusing on Colombia and the accompaniment program.
