The Chicago City Council Human Rights Committee will debate a resolution in support of Rigo and other DREAM Students on Friday November 13th at 10 am. We must to be there to show united and STRONG support for DREAM Students.

The resolution states that the Mayor and members of the City Council of the City of Chicago reaffirm their "support of the DREAM Act, and call upon the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to halt the removal of Rigoberto Padilla and all other young immigrant students who would be eligible to gain legal status under DREAM or other comprehensive immigration reform proposals while such legislation is under consideration in Congress..."  View a copy of the resolution at: http://icirr.org/sites/default/files/citycouncilresolutionRigo.pdf
