CRLN New Managing Director

Over the past few months, CRLN's coordinating coouncil has addressed a key challenge:  the growth and demand for its mission and work, and how to grow organizationally to meet that demand.  These discussions involve the development of a board of directors, not-for-profit incorporation, increasing the membership base and developing philanthropic support.

As a step in that process, Jim Vondracek has joined the CRLN staff as managing director and CRLN founder Gary Cozette will serve as program director.

Responsible for overall management, Jim will focus on organization, board and funds development.  He has made a commitment to CRLN to serve for one year and you can reach him at jvondracek@crln.org  Gary will continue to work on CRLN's key program campaigns and advocacy efforts and can be reached at gcozette@crln.org

Jim has worked with Chicago-area arts, church and educational organizations.  He has led capital campaigns for building projects, including the construction of the Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Navy Pier and the Augustana Chapel at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago.

Jim is married to the Reverend Nancy Goede and lives in Oak Lawn, Illinois with their sons, Hugh and Robert.  He is an amateur musician and volunteers with youth and music at their congregation.  To learn more about Jim and his family, you can visit their website at www.goedevondracek.homestead.com
