Join the office for Immigrant Affairs and Immigration Education of the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, the Priests for Justice for Immigrants, and the Sisters and Brothers of Immigrants for Las Posadas, a Mexican tradition that invites people to discover the blessings that flow from the faith experience of walking with Joseph and Mary to be in solidarity with migrants, refugees and strangers in our midst.

Schedule*
6:40AM Automobile drivers and buses drop off passengers at Broadview Detention Center, 1930 Beach Street, Broadview IL
6:45AM Automobile drivers proceed to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (1101 N 23rd Ave Melrose Park) and park their vehicles in church parking lot. Vans transport these drivers back to Broadview.
7:00AM Rosary, Song & Vigil at Broadview Detention Center, 1930 Beach Street, Broadview IL
8:00AM Two-mile Solidary Walk with song and prayer to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church
9:00AM-10:00AM Christmas Shepherd's Play, Celebration & Social Gathering at Mount Carmel Church

*This is a morning event that will take place regardless of weather conditions!
