Chicago New Sanctuary Coalition leaders participate in civil disobedience calling for immigration reform

On May 25th, Chicago New Sanctuary Coalition Leaders: Jenny Dale, Stephanie Dernek, Sidney Hollander and Rachel Heuman were part of a group of 32 labor, community, and religious leaders who participated in an act of civil disobedience blocking the entrance to the Field Office of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) building at 101 W Congress in downtown Chicago.  The peaceful resisters called for and end to the deportations and for the urgent need for Congress to pass compassionate and just immigration reform.
