Unlikely Friendships: An Interfaith Response to the Changing Faces of America

Wednesday, September 1st (6:30 - 9pm) at Lewis University(Romeoville Campus)

The Interfaith Immigration Network of Greater Chicago, in partnership with Lewis University's 2010 Fall Symposium: Welcoming the Stranger Together, is pleased to invite you to attend the official launching of IIN for an evening of interfaith conversation and storytelling entitled: Unlikely Friendships: An Interfaith Response to the Changing Faces of America

Come and share with caring people of all faiths, as we discover our shared value of welcoming the stranger together. We will also take the opportunity to learn about the holy practice of fasting, as we break the Ramadan fast with good food and drink provided by the International Student Services and University Ministry Offices

*The Chicago Interfaith and Immigration Network is a diverse group of religious individuals, organizations and communities of faith from the Chicago-land area who recognize the essential gifts of the religious voice in the national debate around immigration, and strive to build a stronger, truly interfaith response that promotes just and humane media, policy and programs that welcome the stranger in our midst.

There will be a carpool leaving from downtown Chicago at 3:45pm.  For more information on the carpool please e-mail Rev David Fraccaro at DavidF@ifyc.org
